Our story, like our dessert, is infused with love, laughter, and a sprinkle of magic. Our beginnings in downstate New York were humble, but one place we always felt as rich as the chocolate we now serve was at the table. Our mother is an excellent cook, and we grew up knowing that food was love. No matter the challenges that lay before us, around her desserts there was always joy, laughter, and fellowship. We believe that food is an experience. We find fun and joy in food, and you can see this in our creative recipes and pairings which are perfect for celebrating and showing gratitude.

We believe that food connects people. We work hard to stay connected to and supportive of our communities. We do this by cultivating meaningful relationships with customers and the larger community, and we take opportunities to partner with other local vendors and organizations as often as we can.

We believe that food has the ability to strengthen communities. We strive to use locally grown and made ingredients and products so that we are doing our part to support the local economy. Additionally, one of our long term goals is to provide opportunities for young people interested in culinary arts or entrepreneurship a space to learn and test their ideas.

Meet the “Mixologists”

Meet the creative minds and passionate bakers behind our delicious alcohol-infused treats. With a love for culinary artistry and a knack for innovation, we blend classic baking techniques with unique, spirited flavors to create desserts that are truly one-of-a-kind. Each creation is a labor of love, crafted to bring joy to anyone who indulges.

  • In addition to being one of Prohibition's lead "mixologists," I am a mom of two wonderful littles, and an educator of 20 years. Family, creativity, and community is at the heart of everything I do, and bringing those three things together here at Prohibition is a dream come true. I love getting to know our customers, and feel privileged that they've chosen us to add a little twisty fun to their dessert experience and special events.

  • Fun is my middle name, and I love sharing in the joy of food with our customers. I am also the mom of two brilliant boys and have spent the last 5 years working in community and economic development, supporting small businesses in our growing Buffalo and WNY community. It is so exciting to be able to bring all of the things I love together into one place at Prohibition!
